Say what?

Man, it just feels good to brag sometimes. Our class site is featured on Design Charts with a pretty high position this week. I can't really say that I saw it coming, because I personally think 53Colors turned out to look like a complete mess. But hey, it still feels good to receive some cred from world wide folks. Thanks DesignCharts.
That's pretty much all for now.
Hello hay!

It's been a while since I wrote my last post so I thought that I'll tell you what's up. The last couple of weeks were dedicated to the class site. A project that started with a group of 53 people and ended up with 5 people working day and night in order to finish this up. My rolls were animator, "3d modeler", designer and photographer. It's now almost a week after the release of the site and it's still offline for fine-tuning and basically finalizing and it hurts like a knife stab to see this project still unfinished.
After this I've learned to filter out the bullshit from all different production leaders, coders and random "yes/no sayers". That a lot of people have an interest of just wasting time and that I can really nag myself to stuff when something is delayed. Now, it may sound worse then It probably is, but I experienced the past Marketing and Promotion module annoying enough.

Anyways, one of the things that I've done for the site is an intro animation of a book that opens up and tells a brief story about our site. This video will be shown before the actual class site 53colors.com (when it's launched again). Otherwise, it's been a stressful/great time, I came closer to great people and learned more about myself.

And last, I've finally released my portfolio. Not so much to say about it, it's pretty simple layouted with a fresh header that changes it's design depending on the time. It will show a "day scenario" between 6am and 18pm and "night scenario" otherwise.
We have our design specialization at Hyper right now and we are working together with Noko Jeans. I'll try to write here more and post the stuff that I do.
Cheers,
Greg.
